Our Impact Areas
At Youth and Urbanism Youth-led Organisation, we focuses on addressing the issues of climate change and its impact on vulnerable communities. Their work includes raising awareness about the effects of climate change and providing humanitarian assistance, promoting sustainable development and a low-carbon economy. They employ strategies such as community engagement, policy advocacy, and capacity-building, and collaborate with a wide range of partners.
Another key area of focus for the organization is promoting gender equality and protecting the rights of children. They believe that every individual deserves to live in a safe and equitable society, and work to promote gender equality, empower women and girls, and protect the rights of children. Our Programs
Youth and Urbanism is an organization that is dedicated to addressing the unique challenges facing young people living in urban areas. They offer a wide range of programs that align with their mission to shape urbanism for children and young people, and their vision of creating cities that are safe, inclusive, and supportive of youth development.
“These programs include the Youth Innovation Program which encourages and supports innovation among young people in urban areas, the Youth and Economic Empowerment Program which helps young people to develop the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the job market and build financially stable futures, the Safe and Inclusive Cities Urban Program which addresses issues such as violence and discrimination that can affect young people’s well-being and development, and the Climate Justice Program which focuses on helping young people in urban areas to address issues related to climate change. Additionally, the organization offers programs such as the Urban Humanitarian Response Programs, Gender Equality Program, Child Rights and Protection Program, Volunteer Program, Internship Program and Urban Programming and Planning, all of which are aimed at empowering young people and creating cities that are safe, inclusive, and supportive of youth development.
